One of the better lobster I’ve tried while in Boston. We got the seafood platter and it came with one full lobster, some mussels, steamers (clams); potatoes and one long corn. The lobster was very fresh and we really like the oil / sauce … More

Me and my parents went to The Barking Crab today for lunch. We didn’t have to wait at all to be seated and the waitresses were very kind and prompt throughout our visit. We ordered Clam Chowders, a plate of Fish & Chips (fried haddock) and a Jumbo Fried Shrimp Platter. The food was just simply amazing! The Clam Chowder was creamy and delicious; the Fish & Chips was very crispy and the haddock was smooth and tender; the Jumbo Fried Shrimps were properly fried, including the fries. The coleslaw was fresh and tasty too!
I highly recommend this restaurant, it’s a vibe and a great experience to eat here! You will not be let down for sure, the quality of the plates are exceptional!

Let me start by saying I’m not a big fan of lobster rolls. But this one was the first one I’ve had that I really really liked. It was delicious. I also had the clam chowder that was equally excellent. Great service granted they were slow when I was there. But great experience overall.

It was our last day in Boston and I told my friend that I had to eat some good seafood before leaving. We ended up here which I’m glad we did!
We were seated right away with a beautiful view! Thankfully the weather was perfect. We were starving and agreed to order the Junior Platter which had lobster, shrimp and snow crab for $190. We also started with a dozen of little neck clams, they were so delicious so we ordered another dozen while we waited for our meal. I’d say the Junior platter could feed 2-4 people but we definitely finished it with just the two of us. Haha
Drinks were on point and strong (or maybe it was the sun or green tea shots) 😂😂 either way I’d give this place a 10/10. Service, food, vibes + an awesome outdoor seating with the city views.

The food was awesome we had the lobster, lobster bisc, lobster Mac and cheese and the portions were perfect. We waited for a friend and they didn't mind letting us sit and wait. The service was on point from everyone not just our waiter/waitress. Highly recommend taking the a chance if your near and want some good seafood. More

The sixth stop on our Boston Chowder Crawl was the Barking Crab.
This chowder is definitely pork forward and I believe had hints of corn and possibly some oregano. I could be wrong, but it's tasty anyway. The clams were a bit … More

Delightful crab shack in the middle of the bustling seaport area. We had a cold Narragansett and split the fisherman's platter between two adults and one adventurous 4 year old. Food was hot, well-seasoned, and fast. Scallops were plump, shrimp were perfectly cooked and the fried haddock was perfection
My kiddo ate almost all the clam strips and loved them. We got there at 12:10 on a Friday and there was a wait when we left at 12:48.

Nice place on the water. Food is great! Oysters are so good and fresh I only got a picture of the shells! Fish and chips are good. The lobster, shrimp and scallops were delicious. It’s a bit loud inside the restaurant but the food makes up for it. More

We couldnt wait to try some boston seafood and picked this place for its lobster and crab Platters we got the Venus platter with lobster shrimp and dungeness crabs and it did not disappoint at all everything was perfect and delicious. We also got crab cakes and calamari appetizers they hit the spot as well. Our server didn't pay much attention to us barely checking on us someone else brought our food out and he didn't bother seeing if everything was OK or if we needed anything. Im very understanding and if ge was super busy id of understood but he wasn't and walked by us several times luckily the food was so good little did he know im an over tipper coming from the industry myself so he got the standard 20% tip when he could have gotten a 35% or 40% tip to bad for him but I did tip the person who did the most for us he deserved it more.

A pretty fun and colorful place to enjoy some seafood by the view. Staffs are nice. The place is crowded so can get a bit challenging to get staff's attention. Food is served hot and flavorful compared to other seafood restaurants. Nice decorations as this place has bar settings. I would consider visiting this place again in a couple of more months.

My family & I visited here on February 19th evening.
I loved the way it’s done: a fisherman’s shack! The roof has a lot of crab traps which are decorated with small lights & look nice.
Lots of stuff that’s used in catching the fish, lobsters etc is used in decoration around.
The view is really nice as it overlooks the port where boats can dock. Behind it are the skyscrapers which look beautiful when the sunsets & lights turn on.
But the best is the food. It’s prepared how it was originally eaten using the fresh catch.
I haven’t tasted the calamari as good as it was here anywhere else: flavour full & spicy. Lobster soup as just perfect as was everything else.
The service was superb and as we had called for reservations there was no waiting.
I will come here again whenever I am in Boston.
Cheers!! Keep it going.
